Mohamed Nizam, the owner of a shop in Male’ called ”G-Spot” has sued the Economic Development Ministry after it was declined permission to operate as a business because of its name, reported SunFM.
Today the first hearing of the case was conducted in the Civil Court.

Insecure ID Cards, A Serious Risk « @i →
It was an unfortunate and a disturbing news to hear that the Deputy Minister in charge of DNR has authorized issuing ID Cards without the hologram because they ran out of stock. It is irresponsible and plainly stupid to compromise the security and integrity of the National ID Card, just for the sake of issuing it. If there is no stock, then just stop issuing them.
